You should receive a link from Backerkit for your digital downloads.  Make sure to check your spam folder in case the email gets dumped in there.  If for some reason you didn't receive the email link let me know and I can send you to a drop box folder for you to download your digital rewards. Just a quick update on the project.  I'm so excited!  We have finished all the packaging and, as of Wednesday, the blisters are in the mail and being shipped to me to wait until assembly.  All the files have been sent to the printer, and there, each creep will be hand varnished and trimmed to fit the frames. Next is assembly.  We hope to start in December and will start fulfilling rewards as they come off the assembly line. Thank you so much for your patience!  This is the biggest project I have ever undertaken as an artist and it's going as smoothly as one can expect. Better, in fact.

Backerkit Surveys END Oct. 31st!

Just a quick reminder that Backerkit surveys end on October 31st.  We only have a couple of unfulfilled surveys so if you need for me to resend your survey please drop me a line either here on KS or at [email protected] and I'll get you a new one.  The project continues to move along and will keep you updated with the latest news.  Currently getting back in the groove as I recover from another amazing IlluXcon.

Plastic Coffin

Sorry for the long radio silence on an update.  Things have been crazy busy.  Freelance has kicked into high gear and has kept my butt in the seat.  Just a quick reminder that BackerKit Surveys end on October 31st!  If you need for me to send you a new survey just let me know. :)   

I just received the packaging blister prototype!  It looks great!  I have one minor change to the design but over all I'm really happy with it!  It's so exciting to see this project all come together and couldn't have done it with out you and your support.

Next week I'll be showing at IlluXcon 9 in Reading,PA.  This year they have a new, bigger venue and, as previous IX shows, this one is going to be amazing. So if you find your self in Reading swing by and say hello and grab up some Cameo Creeps swag.

Hanging in the Meat Market

Wanted to share with you all the next phase for the Cameo Creeps.  Packaging!  Yes, each Cameo Creep will come in it's own Blister Card Packaging (the bubble and card like an action figure) I've always been fascinated by package and product design.  

 My designer, Dan, deserves all the credit for this.  He did an incredible job and am so excited to see this all come together.  We just sent this off to my consultant at CardPak who will be creating a die-cut with the rounded corners and j-hook design.  The next step is designing the Blister (or bubble).  This process is a long one.  But is going to be ready to ship rewards by April.  

I'm totally blown away by how many Creeps we have sold through the Kickstarter and pre-orders.  We are nearing 750 Creeps and that number continues to grow.  I'll most likely be placing a new order for frames very soon! Thank you all for your enthusiasm for this little project of mine.

Blood, Sweat and Frames

Hi everyone!

Huge milestone for the Cameo Creeps project happened yesterday.  I picked up my first 1000 frames from the manufacturer!  Huge, I say!  I couldn't have gotten this far without your support!  

 
The next big step is finalizing the card and blister with my packaging team.  We approved the card back and are working on the die-cut and aluminum tool that we'll use to create the blister bubble that each Creep will be housed in.  Exciting stuff!  I'll also be handing off files to the printer this month and then it's onto assembly!  Lots of moving parts for this project and I'm glad I can share with you the process every step of the way.

I'll be releasing one new Cameo Creep a day till Halloween on my social media accounts. So if you aren't following me you can do so on Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr.  Here are some of the NEW Creeps I've released since September 1st.
